Since its inception in 1988, Housing Corporation of America (HCA) has sought to preserve and provide quality affordable housing.  HCA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which strives to not only provide affordable housing, but to improve the communities wherein these projects are located and offer the residents a sense of dignity and pride associated with an improved standard of living. Our portfolio consists of over 5,500 units of low income and affordable apartments in the states of California, Utah, Colorado, and Missouri.

Western Community Housing, Inc. (WCH) is a California Non-Profit Public Benefit Corporation. WCH was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. WCH’s mission is to provide affordable housing and social service programs to low and moderate income families and seniors residing in affordable rental housing communities.  WCH currently has an ownership interest in 53 affordable housing communities comprising over 5,000 units as of 12/31/07.

LifeSTEPS, Life Skills Training and Educational Programs, Inc., is a State of California 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Public Benefit Charitable Corporation. LifeSTEPS provides high quality social and supportive services to residents of affordable housing; serving over 44,000 low income seniors and families living in 164 Low-Income Housing Tax Credit properties.

LifeSTEPS offers life skills training and educational resources to those who are unable to afford the necessities of life without undue hardship. LifeSTEPS enables children, adults, and seniors to gain personal empowerment, establish self sufficiency, strengthen family life and help restore neighborhoods to safe and productive communities.
